Set-up area for about 10 kites, along a farm road.
Before the first flight, briefing on the terrain. Launch area with top landing possibility.
Top terrain in the vineyards on the Moselle. If there is no updraft, you should head for the landing site quickly, as the Moselle has to be flown over; instruction is required before the first take-off! Moselle terrain is also well suited for cross-country flights. However, Hahn Airport is not far away to the south-east. Therefore, airspace restrictions must be observed and flights must be well planned. Daily membership: 5€
Hints:
- Small landing site
- best to fly only when top landing is possible
- High paragliding activity at weekends

1. all pilots are to be instructed in the special features of the terrain and in the dangers (e.g. long flight distance to the landing site from take-off site 1, landing situation, emergency landing areas, dangers during emergency landings on the Moselle - water landings, top landings for paragliders, etc.).
2. starts from starting position 1: The prerequisite for starts is the B-licence. It is to be flown in time and with sufficient height to the landing place "Kirmeswies". The pilots are to be informed of possible emergency landing areas by the terrain holder. Take-offs with paragliders may only be carried out if the landing site "Kirmeswies" is safely reached (sufficient performance of the glider and suitable weather conditions) and/or if a safe top landing can be achieved.
3. top landings on take-off area 1 may be carried out if the flight operations allow this without danger and if no paraglider or hang-glider pilots taking off are endangered.
4. the holder of the terrain has to define regulations (parking situation, landing voltage, emergency landing areas, briefing, signage, etc.) for the flight operation (flight operation regulations Klüsserath).
5. in the case of championships and heavy flight operations, a take-off commander shall be assigned.
6. training flights from take-off position 2: training flights are possible if the student pilots have already gained flight experience in other flying areas (at least 30 high-altitude flights) and the wind conditions allow safe take-off and flying. The landing site is to be approached directly. One flight instructor must be deployed at each take-off and landing point. The carrying of radio is obligatory.
7. after take-offs from take-off position 2, the flight must generally be completed in time if no altitude gain can be achieved after take-off.
8. the B 53 and the campsite must be flown over at a height of at least 50 m during the landing approach.
9. the landing area must be approached in such a way that there is no danger to persons at the campsite or on the sports field. Houses are to be overflown with sufficient height during the landing approach. All pilots must be instructed in the landing procedures.
