Aspres Paragliding Sites

Turbulent to dangerous in NW winds. Deco often well fed, even unstartable between 2 and 4 p.m.. Good control of take-off in strong winds recommended. Area close to an airfield. Gliding on the massif. Breezy, southerly winds. The grade runs in an arc from east to north with a curve to the south/west. You can take off from almost the entire ridge in almost all wind directions. On the road from Grenoble to the village of La Faurie, a 7 km runway in the direction of take-off. When the West is well established From the attero, follow the dike towards the lake, then turn left at a bridge over the Buech. From here, walk up to the pass (approx. 1h), then right to the windsock. The deco is down below... From St Auban d'oze, pass the village of St Auban, then on your left a track takes you to large fields. Go to the end of this track and park on the side. You can reach the take-off with a good 4x4.
