Wonderful view of the Lago d'Iseo and an absolute insider tip. Not overrun by tourists.
Pleasantly steep meadow, with wind from the front it should be no problem to fly over the trees. With west wind you can make beautiful sunset flights and otherwise from afternoon also go on route.
Accessible by foot or jeep. To go up, the locals usually meet at 13.30 at the Trattoria Portole, the ascent by jeep from there costs 7.50 euros.
Landing area is long but requires to enter with low altitude because the speed and glide ratio is high at that area.
To get to the launch site by car you need ground clearance and probably 4x4. The road is quite steep.
On foot you need about three quarters of an hour.
Guests are welcome in the restaurant at the upper landing site, there is information in Italian and the map of a local German tandem pilot, whom you can contact via WhatsApp for some info about the area.
