Nice meadow start. Pfalzen is a traditional area. Hang gliders have been flying here since the late 70s. The village of Pfalzen lies on the sun terrace above Bruneck. Nice launch site at the end of the street. Pay the entry fee at the farm near Frieda (3 Euro). Wooden ramp for hang gliders. Large landing field at the sports field. From time to time UL airplanes take off from there. Pfalzen is a beautiful starting point for cross-country flights - especially in spring. The area is also used by flight schools (e.g. AFS flight school Bad Wildungen).
