Laveno Paragliding Sites

The meadow is mown regularly. Windsock present. Airfield on the west coast of Lake Maggiore in Italian Ticino. The landing place in Cannobio is about 4km away as the crow flies. If one finds updraught it should not be a problem to fly to Cannobio. Without thermals you first have to fly a little to the east around the mountain and then to the north. With the south wind start the way to the north should go quite fast with tail wind. But beware, there are no areas for stopovers on the way to the landing site. Paved road up to approx. 40 m altitude below the launch site. Rest on foot or by car over a gravel road to the starting place. 1- and 2-seater Altitude 1080m
