The take-off is at the top of the Lachat, at 2100 meters of altitude. The main orientation is S-W, facing the valley breeze, but it is also possible to take off on the N-E sector in calm conditions.
Access is by the Rosay cable car (10min), then the Lachat chairlift (7min). Access is also possible on foot via the Col du Châtillon. Lat 45.9587 / Long 6.4765
One of the best spots in the region, the Lachat offers excellent possibilities to start, progress and go cross-country in the grandiose panorama of Grand Bornand and the Aravis.

In winter: It is strictly forbidden to rest on the summit and soaring below 50m/ground is strictly forbidden.
