Paragliding is authorized on the Peyragudes resort during the resort's opening periods:
- the level required is that of the pilot's license as defined by the FFVL
- each pilot must be in possession of civil liability insurance
- pilots must be in possession of a lift pass
- there is no priority at the lifts.
Flying over ski runs and ski lifts is strictly forbidden.
Overflying the "piste des lumières" is tolerated downstream of the altitude restaurant, to reach the landing zone of the Plateau ski lift.
Pilots fly according to the following flight plan:
1/ leaving the Val d'Aube take-off area
2/ crossing the Crète du Val d'Aube and level with the altitude restaurant
3/ passing the altitude restaurant from the west
4/ western bypass of the Cimes piste
5/ off-piste approach: on the Germ plateau or in the area between the groomer garage and the Plateau ski lift arrival point
6/ off-piste landing on the Plateau de Germ, below the Téléski du Plateau or on the off-piste area between the arrival of the Téléski du Plateau and the groomer garage = off-piste landing.
When the resort is not open, it is forbidden to fly over the ski lifts at a height of less than 100 m above ground level. You can land in the Louron valley for flights on the west-facing slope, and in the oo valley for flights on the east-facing slope.
Light wind at altitude.
The take-off, outside the Peyragudes ski resort opening periods, is located near the first-aid post. 4x4 access via the pistes is regulated.
When the slopes are open, the take-off point is located on the south side of the Val d'Aube, below the slope, close to the first-aid post.
Close to the Peyressourdes airfield, with motorized flight activity all year round.
